Elina Liakhova has established herself as a dynamic leader in sustainability, combining academic excellence with real-world impact. Currently, Elly is focused on advancing sustainability initiatives, having recently completed a Master of Science in Environment and Development from the University of Leeds in 2024. Her dissertation focused on indigenous community resilience in Ethiopia, contributing valuable insights into the intersection of environmental challenges and social resilience.Prior to her academic achievements, Elly worked on various international development projects, including fieldwork in Tanzania, where she implemented agroforestry practices to improve soil quality and enhance resilience in rural communities. As a Research Consultant with Elmar Eberhardt, she contributed to projects with GIZ and the African Union, focusing on sustainable development and environmental resilience in challenging environments. Elly is multilingual, fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and excels at bridging cultural divides to foster collaboration and deliver impactful, transformative solutions. Her expertise includes environmental impact assessments, data analysis, and sustainable development, focusing on implementing green technologies and promoting sustainable practices in diverse settings.
